2017 Annual Conference at a glance

Opening doors to opportunity for Latino youth

The Líderes Summit gives youth the chance to develop their skills, network with peers, and learn from those who have walked a similar path to them.

It's an extremely valuable experience for youth 14-23 years of age, many of whom are or will be the first members of their families to attend higher education.

“The networking that can happen at this Conference allows a lot more venues and a lot more opportunities,” says Maria Rendon, a participant of this year’s Líderes Summit. The youth gathering is held every year together with the NCLR Annual Conference.

“Knowing that we have this group of people that are fighting with us… is something that can be really inspiring and something to take home," she adds.
