Director, Policy Analysis Center

The UnidosUS Policy and Advocacy team is seeking an experienced Director, Policy Analysis Center. The Director of the Policy Analysis Center is responsible for working in consultation with senior leadership in the Policy and Advocacy component to set overall strategic goals and objectives for UnidosUS policy analysis activities. This individual will work to build substantive depth in a range of policy issues including education and health; analyze new and emerging policy issues that affect the Latino community and think creatively in support of the development of policy recommendations and solutions. In addition, the Director will coordinate, develop, and participate in public policy forums, summits, briefings, and other events where relevant policy matters are discussed. This will include serving as a spokesperson on Latino policy priorities and representing UnidosUS priorities in internal and external meetings and before congressional staff, policymakers/experts, and issue stakeholders. He/she will also supervise staff and be expected to provide support to policy project directors and policy analysts.

Communications Manager

UnidosUS is currently seeking a Communications Manager to join the MARCOMM team here in Washington, DC. This is a multifaceted position charged with elevating UnidosUS’s voice and mission, leveraging the organization’s involvement in issues such as education, health, criminal justice, the economy, civil rights and immigration policy, and institutional events. The Communications Manager will be responsible for producing strategic communications plans and executing those plans in a timely and professional manner that produces tangible results. The Manager should understand the multi-faceted strategies in the component and will play a central role in the work of the Communications and Marketing team while working closely across the broader MARCOMM component, including the area of digital and social media, editorial, marketing, graphic design, and events. Program Specialist, Young Adult Reentry Program

The UnidosUS Workforce Development (WFD) team seeks an experienced and accomplished Program Specialist to lead the implementation of the UnidosUS Young Adult Reentry Initiative. Launched in 2017, the Reentry Initiative focuses on supporting Affiliates that work with justice-involved young adults (18-24) helping them access education and training that leads to gainful employment and reintegration into their community. UnidosUS is working with three Affiliate sub-grantees who are providing education, legal, and employment services to 500 young adults who have been involved in the juvenile or adult justice system. The Program Specialist will provide technical assistance to sub-grantees, collecting Affiliate narrative and financial reports, reporting to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and conducting site visits and audits. The Program Specialist will also monitor technical grant compliance to ensure that UnidosUS and sub-grantee policies and procedures are up to date with all applicable federal circulars and program requirements. The sub-grantee sites are in Los Angeles, CA; San Jose, CA; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development (WFD) and will be based in either Washington, DC or Chicago, IL.

The Senior Policy Analyst will help develop and drive a policy agenda that increases opportunities for Latino children and their families to be healthy and thrive, providing highly skilled analysis of health policy trends in support of UnidosUS’s goals. This position is responsible for identifying promising ideas, particularly in the areas of health coverage access, affordability, and quality. The Senior Policy Analyst will also write policy papers, issue briefs, and congressional testimony in a variety of lengths and formats for diverse audiences. National Campaigns Manager

UnidosUS is seeking a National Campaigns Manager to help set strategic direction and manage multi-state activities of UnidosUS’s Civic Engagement team.
