UnidosUS and Telemundo to Host Coronavirus Tele-Town Hall

WASHINGTON, DC—On Tuesday, March 31, UnidosUS (formerly known as the National Council of La Raza) will partner with Telemundo to host a Spanish-language tele-town hall titled “CoronaVirus: La Salud de Nuestras Familias” (“The Health of Our Families”). This tele-town hall will help fill a gap in providing timely and relevant information in Spanish to Latinos and will feature a panel of experts who will offer critical information on how to stay healthy and what families can do now to stay safe in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nicole Suarez, Noticias Telemundo Correspondent, will moderate the call and will be joined by UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía; Dr. Kathleen Page, Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Dr. Raul Ruiz, U.S. Representative for California’s 36th congressional district.
