UnidosUS Releases Latest Version of Mobile App Immigo

September 17, 2018

WASHINGTON, DC—UnidosUS (formerly NCLR) today rolled out the latest version of Immigo, a mobile app developed in partnership with the Immigration Advocates Network (IAN) and with the support of Verizon, that provides individuals and organizations working in the immigrant integration space with access to the latest information about immigration law and policies as well as related tools and resources available in both English and Spanish.

Immigo 3.0 builds on some of the app’s popular features, including its real-time immigration news feed and social media sharing tools, and incorporates new enhancements that make for a more user-friendly experience. The most up-to-date version of the app, which is available for free on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets, is fully equipped with improved features that include:

  • Immigration Basics Tool: Providing users an overview of common immigration issues and document checklists
  • Trainings and Events Tool: Access to a national calendar of immigration-related training and events
  • Legal Help Finder: A tool that allows users to tap into a directory of more than 1,000 free or low-cost nonprofit immigration legal service providers
  • Tools for Learning English and Civics

“We are excited to reintroduce the new and improved Immigo 3.0, a truly comprehensive and needed resource to all those working with immigrant communities,” said Laura Vazquez, Senior Program Manager at UnidosUS. “With the generous support of Verizon and the tireless work of our colleagues at the Immigration Advocates Network, the latest version of Immigo will offer users access to the most up-to-date and relevant immigration information—and through its new bilingual language capabilities—help ensure everyone in our community has access to these critical resources.”
