WASHINGTON, DC—On Thursday, October 3, UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza)—the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization— and the Colorado Latino Leadership, Advocacy & Research Organization (CLLARO) will host a timely roundtable discussion on its Latino Family Agenda and important federal and state policy priorities that will benefit Colorado’s Latino families. CLLARO and UnidosUS policy experts will join elected officials, community organizations and advocates to discuss how Latinos are faring economically, and they will focus on health care, tax policy and Latinas in the workforce. Latinos comprise more than 20 percent of Colorado population and are a growing force of the state’s economy.
