The Program Specialist will coordinate the engagement with the member organizations subrecipients of the recently awarded CDC Cooperative Agreement “Education and Awareness Campaign to Promote Vaccination Coverage Among Latinos.” This includes supporting the management of the subawards to more than 30 community-based organizations in UnidosUS’s Affiliate Network, including community health centers; monitoring their programmatic progress, internal and external reporting requirements; and coordinating technical assistance. Responsibilities include working closely with the co-project directors, grants manager, and cross-component team to ensure implementation of program activities, grantee reporting, and deliverables are performed in a timely manner.

UnidosUS is seeking a Director of Media Relations who will lead a national and state-specific strategic communications plan that is opportunistic in using traditional, community-based, and online media channels to elevate UnidosUS’s policy positions and programmatic priorities before key stakeholders, including Latinos, elected officials, funders, partners, and Latino-serving institutions. UnidosUS is seeking an Administrative Manager as part of the Communications and Marketing (MarComm) component who will ensure the efficient administration and operation of the team’s daily and ongoing processes. The Administrative Manager will be responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Deputy Vice President (DVP) of MarComm directly, as well as the broader team by handling a variety of tasks related to organization and communications. This person should be an independent, proactive, and solution-oriented team member with the ability and genuine desire to meet the needs of the team. They should have a proven track record in operations, interdepartmental communications, and managing processes, including meetings, invoices, and budgets.
UnidosUS is seeking a Media Relations Manager who will be responsible for driving media strategy, project execution, and media results that elevate UnidosUS’s work, our Affiliate Network, and the impact we bring together to communities across the country. The Media Relations Manager will possess and develop strong media relationships and always be on the lookout for opportunities that lead to coverage. They will be able to transform political and civic engagement milestones and data into compelling stories and craft interesting content that goes beyond the press release. This individual will engage with media across all channels on a daily basis.
The Health Analyst I reports to the Senior Strategist for Public Health Response and will work closely with the project co-directors, Data and Impact Manager and other Health team staff to ensure data from subrecipients is analyzed, stored, and leveraged for decision making. This role will provide technical assistance to subrecipients to ensure that monthly subrecipient reports meet data quality standards set by both CDC and UnidosUS. In this role, the Health Analyst I will work with the Data and Impact Manager to support CDC project data collection, management, synthesis, and reporting processes.
The UnidosUS Education component seeks an experienced and accomplished program manager with a deep affinity for the organization’s mission and commitment to support Latino youth through the college- and career-readiness process. The Education Program Manager will oversee partnerships between UnidosUS and national secondary (middle and high school) Affiliate sites implementing programs including Escalera: Steps to Success, Early Escalera: Pasos Adelante, Annual Youth Summits, and other secondary programs as needed.
The Director of the Economic Policy Project is responsible for developing policy priorities that align with our organizational strategic goals, executing on policy and advocacy strategy, communicating policy positions, and leading in direct engagement with federal policymakers and administrators. They will be a member of the Policy and Advocacy component’s management team, overseeing a small but growing team of economic policy staff and consultants, working in coordination with other issue teams, and collaborating with colleagues across the organization to leverage all UnidosUS assets to advance economic priorities.
The Director of Health Policy Project sets the overall vision and strategic goals for UnidosUS health policy work. The Director will be responsible for a team of experts that address issues related to expanding and strengthening the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicaid, expanding immigrant access to the social safety net, investing in and improving federal nutrition programs, and establishing new policy initiatives to advance Latino health equity.
UnidosUS Education Program Manager is housed under the Education component to support the organization’s mission and commitment to Latino youth through the post-secondary process. The Education Program Manager will oversee partnerships between UnidosUS and national Affiliate sites and higher education partners implementing the Avanzando Through College program and other post-secondary programs as needed.
UnidosUS is seeking an Evaluation Director who will work with Education, Workforce Development, and Health program directors to develop and implement internal systems for evaluation across components. This person will create data-driven reports that integrate impact evaluation and illuminate key findings to power communications and improve organizational learning and program design. In this role, the Evaluation Director will partner with component leaders in evaluation implementation and offer thoughtful opportunities for UnidosUS to engage with evaluation strategy.
The Grants Manager will serve as a subject-matter-expert in the area of standard provision and policies and procedures governing government contracts, awards, sub-agreements, and contracts. Success in this role requires experience in grant management and compliance with demonstrated understanding of federal grants and its financial requirements including those of the CDC, National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), among others.
The Immigrant Integration Senior Program Specialist is a valued member of the team, with responsibility across the tasks, partnerships, and deliverables associated with the immigrant integration team’s projects. The immigrant integration team is focused on building and sustaining capacity in immigration legal services and supporting pilot programs to eliminate barriers that hinder immigrants from reaching their full potential.
The Manager of Coalitions and Partnerships is a new position to support the partnership and alliance strategy to advance the implementation of UnidosUS’s Esperanza Hope for All Campaign (EHFA) Vaccines Equity Initiative. This position is responsible for tracking and managing several key partnerships and coalitions.
UnidosUS is seeking a Senior Housing Policy Analyst to join a team focused on advancing a new elevated organizational priority in housing and homeownership. This position is housed in the Policy and Advocacy component and reports to the Director of Economic Policy. The Senior Housing Policy Analyst will help develop and drive a policy agenda that works to eliminate barriers to asset-building for low- to moderate-income Latino families. The work entails developing and advancing regulatory policies and industry practices that address access to affordable housing and homeownership (wealth-building) opportunities.

This person will work to increase financial security and wealth-building opportunities for Latino families.

This position is responsible for identifying promising ideas and solutions, primarily in the areas of nutrition and food security. This person will work with colleagues to plan and conduct rapid-response and long-term analyses of data, policies, and emerging issues.
