UnidosUS is seeking a creative and energetic Videographer/Editor who will be responsible for the planning, recording, photographing, filming, and editing of impactful content in support of UnidosUS’s programs, policies, and organizational goals.
UnidosUS is seeking a Vice President of Education and Workforce Development who will be responsible for articulating and aligning the strategic direction for UnidosUS’s education and workforce development programs with the overall organizational strategy and for guiding teams as they execute on plans.
The SVP Economic Initiatives will drive and integrate a significant institutional initiative that leverages all of UnidosUS’s assets, from programs to policy to Affiliate partnerships and communications, and contribute to the organizational strategic planning process. This position will also be responsible for communicating about this work and its impact to a wide range of audiences, including the board, governmental leaders, the media, funders, and other key partners. In addition, it will also serve as a thought partner to other members of executive leadership on economic as well as broader organizational issues.
The Financial Empowerment Program Specialist is responsible for implementing one of the key programs within the UnidosUS Housing and Financial Empowerment component. The Financial Empowerment Network (FEN) is an initiative that mobilizes UnidosUS Affiliates that are service providers in their communities to become channels through which low- and moderate-income Latinos can access culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate financial coaching services.
As part of UnidosUS’s Narrative and other Strategic Impact Goals, and in light of the national debate on racism and structural inequality, UnidosUS is accelerating efforts to define and drive an accurate understanding of Latinos and their contributions to U.S. society. This role will support efforts to develop and articulate a “Latino lens” within current and future public discussion on racial equity/racial justice, including the Black Lives Matter movement. This position will help document how Latinos share with Black Americans many manifestations of structural racism shaped by more than a century of policy decisions and practices.
The Foundation Coordinator will provide development support for policy and advocacy professionals working on a wide variety of issue areas and projects, and will coordinate with other components at UnidosUS to ensure that our foundation-related efforts and relationships are aligned. This person will provide grant research, writing, reporting, and regular communication with funders. The Coordinator will also support alignment of institutional fundraising efforts with the Resource Development team.
The Digital Services Data Lead is critical to ensure the success of this initiative. Their primary role will be to advise and assist in the implementation of a data lake and data warehouse hybrid infrastructure. They will act as an internal consultant to bridge the gap between the technical and business sides. They will work with the program and policy teams to identify data sources, define metadata tags, and help to ensure that data is cleansed and validated appropriately.
The Senior Program Manager is a member of the Health team and is responsible for the management and fiscal oversight of technical projects related to food insecurity, hunger, and health equity (i.e., conceptualizing and implementing public and population health strategies with key targeted communities, and providing technical and management support to Health programs and administrative staff).
UnidosUS is seeking an Administrative Manager as part of the Communications and Marketing (MarComm) component who will ensure the efficient administration and operation of the team’s daily and ongoing processes. The Administrative Manager will be responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Deputy Vice President (DVP) of MarComm directly, as well as the broader team by handling a variety of tasks related to organization and communications. This person should be an independent, proactive, and solution-oriented team member with the ability and genuine desire to meet the needs of the team. They should have a proven track record in operations, interdepartmental communications, and managing processes, including meetings, invoices, and budgets.
The Health Analyst I reports to the Senior Strategist for Public Health Response and will work closely with the project co-directors, Data and Impact Manager and other Health team staff to ensure data from subrecipients is analyzed, stored, and leveraged for decision making. This role will provide technical assistance to subrecipients to ensure that monthly subrecipient reports meet data quality standards set by both CDC and UnidosUS. In this role, the Health Analyst I will work with the Data and Impact Manager to support CDC project data collection, management, synthesis, and reporting processes.
The Director of the Economic Policy Project is responsible for developing policy priorities that align with our organizational strategic goals, executing on policy and advocacy strategy, communicating policy positions, and leading in direct engagement with federal policymakers and administrators. They will be a member of the Policy and Advocacy component’s management team, overseeing a small but growing team of economic policy staff and consultants, working in coordination with other issue teams, and collaborating with colleagues across the organization to leverage all UnidosUS assets to advance economic priorities.
The Director of Health Policy Project sets the overall vision and strategic goals for UnidosUS health policy work. The Director will be responsible for a team of experts that address issues related to expanding and strengthening the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicaid, expanding immigrant access to the social safety net, investing in and improving federal nutrition programs, and establishing new policy initiatives to advance Latino health equity.
UnidosUS Education Program Manager is housed under the Education component to support the organization’s mission and commitment to Latino youth through the post-secondary process. The Education Program Manager will oversee partnerships between UnidosUS and national Affiliate sites and higher education partners implementing the Avanzando Through College program and other post-secondary programs as needed.
UnidosUS is seeking an Evaluation Director who will work with Education, Workforce Development, and Health program directors to develop and implement internal systems for evaluation across components. This person will create data-driven reports that integrate impact evaluation and illuminate key findings to power communications and improve organizational learning and program design. In this role, the Evaluation Director will partner with component leaders in evaluation implementation and offer thoughtful opportunities for UnidosUS to engage with evaluation strategy.
UnidosUS is seeking a Senior Housing Policy Analyst to join a team focused on advancing a new elevated organizational priority in housing and homeownership. This position is housed in the Policy and Advocacy component and reports to the Director of Economic Policy. The Senior Housing Policy Analyst will help develop and drive a policy agenda that works to eliminate barriers to asset-building for low- to moderate-income Latino families. The work entails developing and advancing regulatory policies and industry practices that address access to affordable housing and homeownership (wealth-building) opportunities.
The Senior Policy Advisor for the Economic Policy Project is a subject matter expert in the area of social security, retirement/financial savings, portable retirement savings such as CALSavers, and social insurance programs such as disability and SSI. This person will work to increase financial security and wealth-building opportunities for Latino families. They will also have in-depth knowledge of federal and state level policy related to these issue areas and bring substantive expertise to UnidosUS’s work on economic policy.
