Biden must revive Trump-era Remain in Mexico program after Supreme Court ruling

The Supreme Court this week denied the Biden administration’s request to continue the suspension of the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy. This policy requires asylum-seekers to stay in Mexico while their cases are being decided.

Thousands in Washington state in “limbo” with halt to DACA applications

Two thousand of the 55,000 people with their DACA applications live in Washington state. While USCIS is still accepting new DACA applications, approval cannot be granted until the Supreme Court hands down a decision on the program.

ICE deported him after his movie came out. Now he’s testing the limits of free speech

Claudio Rojas, an immigrant rights advocate, appeared in a movie called The Infiltrators, a movie about an immigration detention center. Rojas was invited to introduce the movie at the Miami Film Festival in 2019, and was soon detained and deported. ICE has denied that they retaliated against Rojas.
