2022 UnidosUS Fall Affiliate Convenings
2022 UnidosUS Fall Affiliate Convenings

Fall Affiliate Convenings

To support Affiliate networking and best practice sharing, UnidosUS will return to two in-person regional convenings. These gatherings provide a space for Affiliates to connect with their Affiliate Council Representatives, regional and national UnidosUS staff, and interact with Affiliate peers. At each convening, Affiliates will meet for a day and a half to participate in workshops, networking, and leadership development sessions. This year’s theme, Beyond Survival: Growing the Institutional Power of Our Organizations, aims to inspire conversations that strengthen the power of Latino-serving organizations and cultivate a perspective of resilience and institutional power of our Affiliates.

AGENDA

During this year’s convenings, we will discuss the following strategic topics:

  • Youth Engagement: Effective practices in organizing youth.
  • Digital Equity: Supporting your clients in navigating the digital world.
  • Leadership Development: Building the bench of next generation’s Latino leaders in the nonprofit sector.
  • Fundraising: Leveraging your storytelling power for grant writing.
  • Operations: Strengthening your organization’s financial management.
  • Operations/Programming: Integrating services to maximize community impact.
