Innovation Lab inspires entrepreneurship in Latino youth

Watch as students create ventures to drive change in their communities

Social innovation has been a hot topic lately. Companies, nonprofits, individuals, and governments at all levels are looking at new ways to tackle challenges.

It's a growing movement that demands novel approaches and strategies. Now, to create the next generation of social innovation entrepreneurs, we are teaming up with Babson College and 50 Eggs Films on an awesome new initiative: the NCLR Innovation Lab.

Starting this month and through April 2016, more than 2,000 youth across the country will take part in this new program to drive social change through innovation. Inspired by the film Underwater Dreams, the NCLR Innovation Lab will follow the E-STEAM curriculum developed at Babson College’s Lewis Institute.

Participating students at 10 NCLR Affiliates will launch a venture to resolve a problem in their community. Along the way they will learn strategies for using innovation and entrepreneurship to impact their communities. The students will present their ventures and lessons learned in April.

 Follow their progress!
