Immigration relief for American families

We will continue to push back on any attempts to roll back these vital policies

The Supreme Court’s decision on administrative relief leaves millions of American families in immigration limbo and is a setback for the entire country. Implementing the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) program and expanding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program would grow the economy by an estimated $230 billion over 10 years.

While we are dismayed by this decision, it does not impact the original DACA program announced in 2012, which was not an issue in this case. We will continue working with allies to explore all legal options available.
