2022 UnidosUS Latinx Health Equity Summit

** Note: We are at capacity and sold out for this year’s event. **

Our Latinx Health Equity Summit will focus on community-based achievements that seek to close health disparities and advance health equity in the Latinx community across five issue areas: social and emotional well-being, food insecurity, healthcare access, research engagement, and COVID-19 response and recovery.

The summit will serve as a unique space to convene a diverse network of trusted Latinx health leaders, experts, practitioners, and community messengers to share programmatic and policy priorities and efforts that improve the health and well-being of the Latinx community.

Join us and elevate the Latinx voice in informing, shaping, and paving a more equitable path forward as we continue to respond, recover, and reimagine a healthier and stronger community.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

At UnidosUS we care about the health and wellbeing of our staff and participants. In that spirit, we share the following reminders:

Proof of full vaccination is required to attend our summit: UnidosUS requests that attendees show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend the event and show a photo identification. Unvaccinated attendees, and those unable to show proof of vaccination, will be required to take a COVID-19 test upon arrival. If you have not provided proof of vaccination and would like to do so before the event, please completethis form.

Fully vaccinated means a person has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines, including recommended booster doses, when eligible. Individuals who are unable to present proof of full vaccination are required to show proof of a negative result from a test administered on-site, unless attendance can otherwise be reasonably accommodated through other means and upon advance written request.

Test before you travel: All attendees regardless of vaccination status are asked to please take an at-home COVID-19 test prior to traveling to the event. If you are positive for COVID-19, please stay home!  We are aiming to provide a safe and healthy environment for all attendees.

On-Site Testing: COVID-19 tests will be available on-site. Please visit the Registration desk in the Akimel Foyer during registration on:

  • Tuesday, December 6, 2022 4:00pm-6:30pm MST
  • Wednesday, December 7,  2022 7:00am-11:00am MST
  • Thursday, December 8, 2022 11am-2:00pm MST
  • Friday, December 9, 2022 10:00am-1:00pm MST

Please be sure to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the event starting to complete your COVID-19 test. You must show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test to receive your conference badge or attend sessions or meal events. To ensure the safety of all participants, individuals who test positive will not be admitted to the event.

Feeling Unwell: If you feel unwell and are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms during the event, please wear a facial covering (cloth and N95 masks will be provided in all attendee bags) and request a COVID-19 test from the Registration desk in the Akimel Foyer.

Time to get your updated COVID-19 vaccine (bivalent) booster: Peace of mind is the best holiday gift as you prepare to attend large gatherings. An updated COVID-19 vaccine booster is now available and free at a pharmacy near you. Ask your pharmacist or healthcare provider or visit vaccines.gov.
