Latino Jobs Report U.S. Employers Add 151,000 Jobs in January

The U.S. Department of Labor reported today that U.S. employers added 151,000 jobs in January 2016, a decline from the strong job growth in the previous month of 292,000 jobs. The national unemployment rate witnessed a slight decline to 4.9% from 5%. The Latino unemployment rate declined noticeably from 6.3% in December to 5.9% in January, as the number of employed Latinos increased.
