Latino Jobs Report Latino Unemployment on the Rise

The U.S. Department of Labor reported today that U.S. employers added 160,000 jobs in April 2016, down from 215,000 in the previous month. The national unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5%. The Latino unemployment rate increased from 5.6% in March to 6.1% in April.
